Haemophilia – The Nigerian Story

Haemophilia is a rarely know disease in Nigeria. It is transferred from a mother to her son and manifest in excessive bleeding from even a very small cut or swollen in any part of the body, which leaves the carrier in excruciating pains most of the time. Because its awareness is very little in the country most affected persons have died due to lack of proper care and access to available treatment.
